Showcasing The Benefits Of Workflow Automation At SGIA
Though the PrintFactory brand may be relatively new on the block, the team behind it has been evolving advanced color management software solutions for decades to deliver the possibilities we’ll be presenting at SGIA 2017 (October 10-12, New Orleans).
Whether we’ve been operating under the Aurelon, GMG or PrintFactory umbrella, our purpose has always been the same: to streamline and simplify print shop operations for maximum profitability.
Alongside our U.S. distributor, GMG Americas (GMGA), we’ll be demonstrating the tangible benefits of workflow automation – putting a spotlight on the substantial savings in time, ink and media that wide-format set-ups can achieve through entrusting their operations to the cloud.
Indeed, we’ve done a lot of work to establish the true cost of running a commercial print organization and can say, with confidence, that our technology can allow double the throughput using only the same resources. GMGA’s Director of Sales, Bart Fret, will be touching on ‘The true cost of printing’ in his speaker session scheduled at 10:30, Wednesday October 11. One of three presenters in the track titled ‘Three Views on Automating Your Graphics Workflow’ (Room 333), Fret will focus on the missed revenue opportunities for commercial and industrial printers choosing to stick with the status quo.
When you think that automated workflows would allow one operator to process up to double the amount of print jobs – with a significantly reduced cost per job compared to a ‘normal’ workflow, clearly change is worth it. Especially considering it typically takes half the time to get the jobs on press, so you’re cutting down on the time expensive equipment is laid idle too. Not to mention the brand management benefits of getting it right first time, every time.
Now’s the time to redefine wide-format workflows and at SGIA we’ll show you how.
