Showing The Benefits Of Smart Color Management At SGIA 2017

57c8b772-b1b2-4531-9678-1b9eb60ab0f7-largeSGIA 2017 (10 – 12 October 2017, New Orleans, USA) was a great success for PrintFactory, and the show proved to be a fantastic opportunity to see some of the latest innovations in the sector and to network with people in the industry.

The focus of the exhibition for us was to demonstrate the tangible benefits of smart color management solutions and put a spotlight on the savings in time, ink and media that wide-format set-ups can achieve through cloud-based, automated workflows. During the show, we exhibited alongside GMG Americas, a key partner and distributor, and together we attracted a number of delegates to the stand who were interested in learning more about how PrintFactory could help their print operations save money and boost productivity.

Prior to the exhibition we had released an industry report to put a spotlight on the potential for automated workflows to completely transform LFP. This generated interest and a buzz around our stand, with many people surprised by the findings from the report, such as automation’s ability to help print shops achieve revenue growth potential of up to 100% and that only 8% of North America’s commercial printers are benefiting from this technology.

Alongside the interest in our solutions, another exhibitor highlight for us was the popularity of our PrintFactory giveaways on the stand – the PrintFactory water bottles in particular proved to be a huge hit amongst delegates!

SGIA highlighted the 20171011_105708sector’s appetite for automation, and how attitudes towards the shift to industry 4.0 are changing with the introduction of more and more innovative solutions. The future of the print industry looks bright, and we’re looking forward to supporting print operations to redefine the way they do business to realize revenue at every opportunity.
